Travelling with Children
We know travelling with kids takes a little extra planning, so we’ve made it easier for families to move through the terminal with ease. From baby change facilities to a helping hand when you need it, our team is here to support your journey.

Before You Arrive
Plan Ahead
Leave a little extra time to park, check in, and get settled before your flight. Check your airline’s policies on child and infant baggage, bottles, and meals; every carrier is a bit different.
Pack Smart
While some airlines provide kid-friendly meals, having a few favourites on hand (think snacks, juice boxes, or baby food) can be a game changer.
Family-Friendly Facilities
Parent's Rooms
Parent’s Rooms are located before security and inside the departures lounge. Each includes a change table, wash basin, microwave and nappy disposal.
Water Fountains
Fill up bottles or sippy cups at the water fountains in the Check-in and Departures Lounge.
Unaccompanied Minors
Children under 5 must travel with a parent or guardian.
Children aged 5–11 years travelling alone are generally required to be booked as Unaccompanied Minors. For those aged 12–15 years, this service is usually optional and can be arranged if parents or guardians would like extra support.
The parent or guardian escorting the child at departure must remain at the airport until at least 15 minutes after the flight has taken off.
As requirements vary, please check directly with your airline for full details:
